Maria has more than 20 years of experience in real estate markets, real estate funds, investment structures and transactions with total closed transactions exceeding € 800 million.

Prior to co-founding Aldon, Maria held several leading positions at Trevian Asset Management and was a partner of the company. In her latest position Maria was responsible for new transactions, deal sourcing, new investor client acquisition and buy-side advisory for the international real estate investors. Before that Maria was heading Trevian’s care property fund and JV business. She had a key role in establishing and managing two closed-end care property funds, building up the portfolios and leading the funds to the successful exits. Her responsibilities included also investor relations, portfolio management and managing the in-house asset management team and external service provider network.

Before Trevian Maria was working as Investment Manager at the Finnish investment bank Evli being responsible for the real estate acquisitions and financing in the Baltics and Russia. From Evli and Catella, she also has experience in fund establishment processes, fundraising, fund and asset level investment analysis, real estate market analysis and investor reporting.

Maria holds a MSc. (Tech) in Real Estate Economics from Helsinki University of Technology and she is also a member of RICS (MRICS).
