A new, independent real estate investment and asset management company Aldon Capital starts its operations. Established by five senior real estate professionals Maria Söderman, Risto Vuorenrinne, Nea Alsina, Vesa Klemettilä and Stefan Söderholm, it combines the experience of more than 100 years in business.
”We have built a team with a skill set that covers all aspects of the real estate market. The team has transacted properties worth more than € 2 billion in their careers, managed assets of all types and carried out complex construction and large-scale development projects”, says managing director Maria Söderman.

Knowing the market is quintessential, but one must master the data to fully capitalize the knowledge. “Even if the financial models are complex, they can be presented concisely and clearly. Aldon’s approach is to use innovatively widely available applications for tracking market activities and collecting data to provide all necessary comparables for investment analysis”, says Nea Alsina.
ESG has been one of the hottest topics during the past years in real estate business. “Aldon provides not only high-quality reporting, but we give our clients real solutions when it comes to energy savings, opex optimization and sustainability. We have wide experience on geothermal and other energy efficiency projects in commercial real estate, but energy savings are not the only aspects of sustainability. We take a holistic view on ESG and improve the assets on all levels”, notes Vesa Klemettilä.
The war in Ukraine has had several implications on real estate business, not only because of rising energy costs and instability, but also the financial markets are in turmoil. “Market instability creates opportunities, as new types of credit emerge along traditional banking. Aldon can provide alternative financing sources and advice on tax efficient structures”, says Stefan Söderholm.
Maria has more than 20 years of experience in real estate markets, real estate funds, investment structures and transactions with total closed transactions exceeding € 800 million. Prior to Aldon, Maria has worked in Trevian, Evli Bank and Catella. MSc. Tech, MRICS.
Risto has worked in the real estate industry for 25 years. He has advised international investors on transactions worth € 1 billion. Prior to joining Aldon Capital he worked in e.g. Trevian, Cromwell Property Group, TK Development and Ahlström. MSc. Law and MSc. Tech.
Nea has 8 years of experience working in the real estate industry from both the public and the private sectors. She has worked on underwriting and modelling major transactions for leading international investors. Prior to joining Aldon Capital she worked in Trevian and Cromwell Property Group. MSc. Tech.
Vesa has managed successfully tens of demanding projects (value> €150 million) including tenant improvement, capex and development projects and large energy efficiency projects. He has vast experience on managing technical and ESG aspects in the real estate industry. Prior to joining Aldon Capital he worked in e.g. Trevian, Newsec and Nokia. Vesa is a certified Real Estate Director and Project Manager with 28 years of technical experience. Civil Engineer.
Stefan has more than 15 years experience in both real estate investments and debt financing for real estate transactions. He has been involved in the structuring and establishment of various investment funds, limited partnerships, JV-investment clubs and asset management assignments for major international investors. Prior to joining Aldon Capital he worked for Cushman & Wakefield, Trevian (founding partner) and HSH Nordbank. MSc. Economics.
